Special Education Services Available to Eligible Children

Buffalo Independent School District provides special education services to eligible disabled children. The student must be between the ages of 3 and 21. For children who are visually or hearing impaired, services are provided from birth through age 21. A variety of placement options are available. Children are placed after they have been found to have an educational disability through the process of referral and evaluation.
